We had a great time last Saturday at the Osprey Public Library, exploring the new Pop-Up Library and the new (temporary) home of the History Center. Celebrating a Summer of Learning
|

Thanks to your generous support, the Library Foundation awarded $43,000 to the Sarasota County Libraries' Summer Learning Program! This gift helped the libraries to expand summer programming to 1,200 events and to increase community engagement to a record-breaking 20,400 participants!
From aspiring engineers tinkering in STEM workshops to young Picassos exploring multimedia arts, this year's program was jam-packed with fun. Plus, Sarasota's young readers were exceptionally busy, logging an impressive 1,225,007 minutes of reading time—a remarkable 86% improvement over last summer.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our incredible library staff, whose talents and dedication made the Summer Learning Program such a tremendous success. |
