Todd Sweet
My Favorite Book:
"The Shipping News," by Annie Proulx. My grandmother was a Newfoundlander and I just love the characters.
Why I Serve:
The public library is the most accessible public building we have in society. Today, our libraries are so much more than book depositories. Public libraries are havens for learning, creating, meeting and sharing. Healthy libraries lead to healthy communities. As an architect, I am interested in place-making that enhances the human experience.
Todd Sweet is an architect and founding principal of Sweet Sparkman Architecture and Interiors with offices in Sarasota and St. Petersburg.
