Why I serve
A public library is a great asset to a community. It is a place to check out a great book… and so much more! A public library is always evolving to stay up-to-date with current technology while at the same time continuing to be a gathering place to provide a sense of community and belonging.

A lifelong resident of New Hampshire, Sharon moved to Venice, FL in 2021 to be closer to her parents. Sharon has a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of New Hampshire and has spent a career developing custom database applications for a variety of businesses. As Database Manager, Sharon is excited to use her skills to support the continued success of the Library Foundation on behalf of the library system of Sarasota County.
